A Poem of Joy

Joy, a river that flows within,
A melody rising above life’s din.
It dances in the heart so free,
A gift of grace, a heavenly decree.

Not bound by fleeting worldly gain,
Nor dimmed by sorrow, loss, or pain.
It springs from love, from hope so true,
A light that pierces every hue.

In nature’s song, in morning’s light,
In whispered prayers through darkest night,
Joy whispers soft, “You’re not alone,”
A promise carved in hearts of stone.

For joy is found in simple things,
The fluttering of a sparrow’s wings,
The laughter shared, a child’s embrace,
The wonder shining on each face.

It’s in the rain, the sun, the breeze,
The rustling leaves, the towering trees,
It’s in the faith that never dies,
The peace that calms and satisfies.

Oh joy, eternal, vast, and deep,
A treasure for the soul to keep.
Through trials fierce, through storms that roar,
Joy lifts us up, and we soar.

So let us sing, let voices rise,
A chorus loud beneath the skies.
For joy is ours, a gift divine,
Forever flowing, yours and mine.
